How does it work?

The basics components of charging an electronic device with an internal battery are this. Amperage is how much electricity or charge is being sent from the battery to power the device, voltage is how fast or strong the electricity is being transferred and watts is the amperage multiplied by the voltage.

Think of it like a garden hose. Amperage is the hose width, voltage is the water pressure and watts is the amount of water coming out of the hose.

Does my device support fast charging?

Apple supports fast charging on the following devices when paired with an Apple USB-C to Lightning Cable any of the 18W-96W USB-C Power Adapter.

• iPad Pro 12.9 inch 1st generation and onwards
• iPad Pro 11 inch 1st generation and onwards

Additionally, with iPhone, you can charge up to 50 percent battery in around 30 minutes.

Whilst charging, you can also turn on Airplane Mode and Low Power Mode. This will help get the most out of a limited amount of charging. Helpfully, you can still turn on your WiFi on Airplane Mode.
